Message From Director
It is with great pleasure and excitement that I announce the launch of Li’L Folks 2.0 in a new avator in Noida.
Conceptualised and created in 1993, Little Folks, South Delhi has had an extremely successful stint in Pre Schooling and Day care.
Times have moved on to a world of new technology, newer models of education and the newest methodologies of edutainment. Hence, the new avatar. Li’L Folks 2.0 is redefining the paradigms of Pre Schooling and Day Care.
To say that any one approach of Preschool education is good enough for today’s children is limiting the choices and opportunities for maximum learning and development. Keeping this in mind we have designed and developed our curriculum by picking up the best practices from all models of education from all over the world, particularly the US, UK, Australia and Dubai and customised it in the Indian context with inputs from experts in India. This LF Indo Global Blend App ( LIGBA ) is the touchstone of child growth and development at Li’L Folks keeping it relevant to familial and cultural values. The LIGBA model is designed to grow Character Kids, Smart Kids, Fit Kids, Solution Kids and Global Kids.
Day Care at Li’L Folks is not limited to mere care of physiological needs of children. Convinced that maximum learning and cognitive development of children starts as infants, we have a curriculum designed for children aged 6 months and above. The schedule at the Day Care too is created to encourage the child to explore and be kept creatively engaged. Continuous observation by experienced staff gently identifies their interests, strengths, abilities and multiple intelligences to enrich those aspects and guide the children towards knowledge and experiential learning. No Gyan sessions.
At LF we provide a child centric curriculum and child friendly environment keeping the child at the centre of learning where the individual innate abilities of the child are enriched through a flexible and child chosen path, instead of a ‘one fit for all” approach. And all this is through fun and in a playful way. Here child care is next to mother’s care.

Our Curriculum
Best Practices from all over the world like High Scope, WALDORF STEINER Approach, Montessori, Reggio Emillia approach and the Play way method have been blended and customised to the Indian context.
The LF customisation also takes into account all learning styles like Verbal, Aural, Visual, Physical, Logical and Social vs Solitary learners and identifies the individual learning styles to make learning fun, easy relevant and interesting.
Teachers at LF identify the “intelligence” of each child from the multiple intelligencies (Howard Gardner) available like Linguistic, Spatial, Inter personal, Intra personal, Musical, Logical, Ecological, Logistical and Kinesthetical. Each child then gets an individual learning plan.
